Exercise Physiologist Role Overview

The Procare Group seeks a driven Exercise Physiologist to join our expanding Tasmanian team, based in either Hobart or Launceston.

This role is incredibly collaborative and rewarding, enabling you to assist with an injured person's recovery, return to work and life following injury or illness. Key responsibilities include conducting assessment and case management services across various customer portfolios, supporting people to recover and return to their pre-injury or new employment using your clinical skills and knowledge.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with an injured person's recovery, return to work and life following injury or illness;
  • Conduct a range of assessment and case management services across various customer portfolios;
  • Support people to recover and return to their pre-injury or new employment using your clinical skills and knowledge;
  • Interact and build relationships with health professionals, specialists, employers, insurers and other key stakeholders to drive positive outcomes for clients.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, Exercise Physiologist or Rehabilitation Counsellor qualification (with relevant professional membership);
  • Desire to work in Occupational Rehabilitation;
  • Current Police Clearance and Working with Children Check;
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills;
  • Excellent time management, attention to detail and problem solving abilities;
  • Honesty, integrity, a good team attitude and positive approach;
  • Genuine commitment to continuous improvement.
