We are looking for a dedicated professional to lead the efficient execution of complex design packages, managing various work streams while ensuring compliance with design specifications, timelines, and budgetary limits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the delivery of Protection, Control & Communication systems designs, ensuring they meet quality and project objectives.
  • Monitor the performance of design partners within the EPC contractor framework, ensuring deliverables are achieved while managing costs and schedules.
  • Lead the design approval process for both new and existing terminal station design packages, adhering to project requirements.
  • Provide technical expertise and manage responses to inquiries during both design and construction phases, ensuring compliance with project specifications.
  • Manage design-related costs to align with project requirements, demonstrating awareness of commercial and contractual obligations.
  • Contribute to the identification of new business opportunities and improvements in design standards.
  • Effectively manage client and stakeholder expectations, ensuring clear communication with the project team and adherence to company policies.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Architecture, Engineering, Construction, or extensive experience in technical management on significant projects.
  • Experience across multiple disciplines in Building, Construction, and Design.
  • Strong understanding of commercial compliance and design frameworks.
  • Proven ability to interpret Head Contracts and Subcontracts.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • Familiarity with risk management principles and their impact on operational risk.
  • Proficient in relevant software applications necessary for the role.
  • Strong time and cost management skills to ensure timely delivery of design and management of associated costs.
