Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Intermediate Accountant with 2-4 years' experience to join our dynamic team in Sydney.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare management reports, financial statements, tax returns and BAS's for individuals, partnerships, companies, trusts and SMSF's
  • Prepare FBT returns
  • Liaise with statutory authorities on behalf of clients, including the ATO and ASIC
  • Prepare correspondence with clients
  • Review work and provide technical guidance to junior staff
  • Report to the team supervisor, team manager and executive director and contribute to achieving goals for our clients, team and Bell Partners

Requirements:

  • Degree qualified
  • CA qualification or near completion
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • 2-4 years' experience in a Chartered Accounting practice
  • Experience working autonomously on financial statements, tax returns and BAS's for individuals, partnerships, companies, trusts and SMSF's, FBT returns and ATO and ASIC liaison
  • Proficiency with Xero including Practice Manager, MS Word and MS Excel is beneficial
  • Strong desire to succeed and achieve goals both as a team and individually
  • Pleasure in providing exceptional service to clients
