Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Theatre Technician to join our team at Werribee Mercy Hospital Operating Theatre.

The successful applicant will be responsible for providing exceptional patient positioning, maintaining all equipment requirements within the operating room, and supporting departmental tasks such as cleaning, restocking, and patient transport.

Working as an integral member of a multidisciplinary team, the successful applicant will deliver a highly responsive and flexible service to patients and their carers.

Essential Qualifications
  • Certificate III & IV in Health-Operating Theatre Technician Practice or equivalent is mandatory.
  • Current and role-specific experience is also essential.
  • Additional training or certification such as Laser Safety Management is highly desirable.
