Senior Land Vehicle Configuration Specialist

The Data and Configuration Manager will oversee the lifecycle of Australia's armoured and tactical vehicles, focusing on data and configuration processes.
This role is responsible for managing configuration management processes for land vehicle systems, ensuring accurate baselines and controlling change throughout vehicle lifecycle phases.
Key Responsibilities:- Support configuration management processes for land vehicle systems
- Plan, document, and schedule project configuration control boards
- Collect, verify, and control configuration data from engineering, maintenance, and operational sources
- Use configuration management tools to input configuration item data
- Maintain and provide quality assurance of data records
- Minimum 3-5 years defence-related experience in data and configuration management
- In-depth knowledge of defence configuration management policies
- Proven experience with configuration management tools
- Strong analytical and documentation skills
- Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary defence project and sustainment teams
