Therapeutic Counsellor for Trauma and Abuse

This position requires an experienced therapeutic counsellor to provide specialised interventions for individuals affected by sexual assault and those with problematic or harmful sexual behaviour. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to deliver effective therapies that cater to diverse needs and age groups, while adhering to established policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement tailored therapy plans for individuals and groups
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure comprehensive service provision that addresses the unique needs of each client
- Stay abreast of best practices in trauma and abuse counselling, incorporating this knowledge into therapy sessions

About You- Hold relevant Australian standard qualifications in a field related to counselling or psychology
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of current research and best practices in trauma and abuse counselling
