Senior Contract Administrator Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of Senior Contract Administrator on our large commercial projects. This position offers a challenging and rewarding career path for those who thrive in fast-paced environments.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong leadership skills, expertise in contract administration, and the ability to work collaboratively with project teams and partners. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing end-to-end procurement processes, including tender preparation, evaluation, and contract awarding in line with compliance requirements.
  • Overseeing contract administration using construction-based software.
  • Ensuring full compliance with head contract obligations, including progress claims, forecasting, variations, and reporting.
  • Leading and supporting contract administration team resources, including performance management, leave approvals, and goal setting.
  • Identifying and mitigating project risks while resolving contractual issues with consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Coordinating project close-out, including financial wrap-up, handover documentation, and defect resolution.
  • Administering authority, utility, and DA requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

A successful candidate will have a minimum of 6+ years of proven track record experience working for a head contractor or equivalent organization. They will also possess tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or equivalent, and demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with partners and key stakeholders.
