Job Description:As a dedicated caregiver, you will provide holistic support to clients in their own homes. You will work closely with registered nurses to deliver client-specific care, including personal hygiene, toileting, nutrition, and mobility assistance.
You will identify client care needs and collaborate with the care team to ensure high-quality care. Effective communication is essential for this role, as you will interact with clients, their families, and team members on a daily basis.
- Provide personal care and assist with daily activities, following the Client Care Plan.
- Work closely with Registered Nurses to deliver client-specific care.
- Identify client care needs and work collaboratively with the client's care team.
- Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and team members.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Cert III in Aged Care/Disability (or equivalent).
- Current Senior First Aid [HLTAID011], CPR [HLTAID009] and Manual Handling [HLTWHS005] (with 3+ months until expiry).
- A roadworthy and insured vehicle with a current driver's licence.
- Federal Police Clearance (within the last 6 months).
