Nurse Unit Manager

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to take on a key leadership position as Lead ICU Nurse Manager.
This role offers the opportunity to facilitate a learning culture and drive continuous improvement in patient care. You will be responsible for providing clinical operational direction for the unit, ensuring efficient and effective management of nursing care.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining professional working relationships with VMO partners and using a customer service mindset to deliver high quality patient outcomes.
- Being accountable for daily management of human, financial and material resources.
- Coordinating and driving clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives.
- Undertaking direct patient care when required.
- Mentoring staff members.
Essential criteria for this role include:
- Current Registration with AHPRA.
- A Working with Children check (if applicable).
- Previous ANUM or clinical nurse specialist experience in ICU is highly desirable.
- Sound clinical knowledge and 3 years of clinical experience.
- Compliance with ACQSHC National standards.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Positive role modelling behaviours.
- Strong customer service focus, time management and prioritisation skills.
