Software Engineering Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking an accomplished Software Engineer to lead our team in developing cutting-edge trading technology. As a key member of our Canberra Development team, you will collaborate with experienced developers worldwide on core technologies and critical real-time systems.

While a financial background is not required, you must be able to learn new concepts quickly and apply them to software design and algorithms. Lead engineers should expect to spend approximately half their time managing their engineering team and the other half on actual coding.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of industry experience in C++ development, along with strong understanding of object-oriented design principles, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and experience contributing to employee performance review processes.

Additionally, experience in Agile methodologies and multithreaded programming is highly regarded.

This full-time position is located in the oneZero Canberra office. The successful candidate will enjoy a flexible workplace with opportunities for work from home, free daily meals, and a monthly Wellness program subscription.
