Job Description

  • Develop, test, and maintain software applications using C++.
  • Collaborate and manage cross-functional teams to design efficient, scalable, and reliable solutions.
  • Optimise code for performance and maintainability.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure high coding standards.
  • Debug and resolve software defects and performance issues.
  • Contribute to the documentation of technical specifications and processes.
  • Stay updated with the latest developments in technology to improve software solutions.
  • Support the integration of software with existing systems and platforms.

The Successful Applicant

A successful C++ Software Engineer should have:

  • Strong experience with C++ programming and software development principles.
  • Experience working within the financial space is highly advantageous.
  • At least 3 years experience as a lead or manager in a software team
  • Familiarity with performance optimisation techniques and debugging tools.
  • Knowledge of software development methodologies and version control systems.
  • A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • The ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively within a team
