Job Title: Executive Chef

Job Summary:

Job2Go Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead our kitchen team in Carlton, Victoria. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality food is prepared and presented to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Food Preparation: Develop and implement menus that meet customer expectations and maintain high standards of food quality.
  • Menu Planning: Plan and execute menu cycles, including seasonal menu changes and special events.
  • Budget Management: Manage kitchen budgets, minimizing waste and costs while maintaining high-quality food standards.
  • Hygiene Standards: Ensure all kitchen staff adhere to strict hygiene standards and implement an approved food safety plan.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain all kitchen equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Liaison: Collaborate with management to ensure consistency in product and materials.
  • Menu Planning: Plan and execute menu cycles, including seasonal menu changes and special events.
  • Standards Enforcement: Enforce nutrition and sanitation standards for kitchen operations.
  • Team Performance: Foster a positive and productive team environment, promoting high levels of performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Food Receiving and Storing: Ensure all food is received and stored according to health department requirements.
  • Meetings: Attend regular meetings with management and staff to discuss kitchen operations and customer feedback.
Requirements:
  • Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma in relevant field.
  • At least two (2) years of relevant prior experience as a Chef.
