Role Overview

As an Enterprise Data Governance Professional at Macquarie, you will play a crucial role in assessing and governing enterprise-critical data usages. This includes understanding and documenting end-to-end data flows, identifying potential data risks, and implementing mitigating controls. The ideal candidate will have strong business analysis skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work autonomously, manage stakeholders, and deliver on multiple streams of work simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and bring enterprise-critical data usages under governance
  • Document end-to-end data flows and system processes
  • Identify potential data risks and implement mitigating controls
  • Facilitate data governance business overview sessions and coach/mentor Data Governance Team members
Requirements
  • Strong business analysis skills with attention to detail
  • Strong communication and influencing skills
  • Previous experience in data governance or data management
  • Good project management and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Relevant business, quantitative, or IT-related degree qualification
  • Enterprise Data Management tooling experience
