About the Role

The Assistant Operations Manager will play a key role in supporting the Operations Manager in maintaining the centre to maximize customer and retailer satisfaction. This involves assisting in the day-to-day running of the centre to ensure it is maintained to the agreed standards that bring the Vicinity brand to life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Operations Manager in maintaining the centre to maximize customer and retailer satisfaction.
  • Assist in the day-to-day running of the centre to ensure it is maintained to the agreed standards.
  • Provide technical knowledge of building operations and legislation, including regulatory compliance, contractor management capability, and workplace health & safety (WH&S).
  • Manage project costs and have strong project management skills.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships to deliver positive outcomes and collaborate effectively with the team.

  • Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within shopping centre facilities management.
  • Solid technical knowledge of building operations and legislation.
