Job Opportunity

Veolia ANZ is seeking an experienced Electrical/Instrument Technician to join our dynamic Hunter water team in Newcastle. In this pivotal role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the seamless operation of our water and wastewater treatment facilities, contributing to our mission of providing clean water and protecting the environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine preventive maintenance and troubleshoot breakdowns on electrical and instrumentation systems.
  • Calibrate and maintain instrumentation across water and wastewater plants.
  • Modify and update wiring diagrams, ensuring accurate documentation.
  • Carry out planned maintenance tasks and participate in the on-call roster.
  • Utilize your expertise in hardware fault finding and data management.
  • Collaborate with subcontractors, providing supervision and representing Veolia.
  • Contribute to a safe work environment by adhering to WH&S, Environment, and Quality Systems.
  • Participate in Veolia's continuous improvement culture.

Requirements

  • Educational background in Electrical Trade Qualifications.
  • Demonstrated experience in maintenance of heavy industrial plant and equipment.
  • Instrumentation certification is desirable.
  • Driver's License.
