About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical/Instrument & Control Technician to join our team at Cleanaway, Australia's largest waste management company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot process issues and plant breakdowns to ensure seamless operations.
  • Participate in plant upgrade development, execution, and commissioning to improve efficiency and safety.
  • Undertake installation and maintenance work in the plant, ensuring compliance with applicable legislation and regulations.
  • Supervise and coordinate Electrical & Maintenance contractors onsite to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Maintain accurate records of plant equipment and stock levels.
  • Contribute to the branch's collective performance by making informed decisions on a daily basis.
Requirements
  • Current driver's license (Class 1 (NZ); Class C (AUS))
  • Experienced Electrical, Instrument and Control Technician with a strong background in waste management.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Forklift license or willingness to obtain, with a strong commitment to safety and compliance.
  • NSW Electrical license, Cert III or IV in Instrumentation and Control, and OHS Card.
  • Hazardous area certification EEHE (highly advantageous) and EWP Ticket or willingness to obtain.
