Ironmaking Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Process Engineer to join our team.

This role will involve coordinating and managing the metallurgical process, including the improvement of activities across the Blast Furnace operation.

1. Achieving efficient and capable processes
2. Defining measures and reporting systems on key process variables
3. Developing and implementing continuous improvement on process management systems
4. Advancing operational improvement, plant security and availability
5. Educating and training the team on various metallurgical processes

This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual with relevant ironmaking/steelmaking/pyro-metallurgical experience in a similar role within mining, manufacturing, or heavy industry sector.

You have a tertiary qualification in Chemical or Metallurgy Engineering or similar, sound understanding of manufacturing methodologies, experience with Process Control, Process Development and Process Management systems, and a strong problem-solving and analytical skill set.
