Senior Ironmaking Specialist

This role is part of the Ironmaking team, focusing on providing technical expertise for the Blast Furnace.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver cost-effective and capable processes
- Establish measures and reporting systems for key process variables
- Develop and implement continuous improvement on process management systems
- Advance operational efficiency, plant security, and availability
- Educate and train the team on metallurgical processes
We are seeking a motivated individual with relevant ironmaking/steelmaking/pyro-metallurgical experience in a similar role within mining, manufacturing, or heavy industry.
- Tertiary qualification in Chemical or Metallurgy Engineering or similar
- Strong understanding of manufacturing methodologies
- Experience with Process Control, Process Development, and Process Management systems
- Strong understanding of Statistical analysis and methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
