Network Engineer Job Description

First Focus is a leading Managed Service Provider seeking an exceptional Network Engineer to join our team in Sydney. As a Network Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing and supporting our clients' and First Focus' growing network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, maintain, and support network infrastructure for clients and First Focus.
  • Operational Network Management and monitoring for client networks.
  • Routing, Switching, and firewall deployment of networking technologies.
  • Provide project support to deliver projects across multiple clients.
  • Resolve network and service issues.
  • Configure and install various network devices and services.
  • Perform network maintenance and system upgrades.

Requirements:

  • Solid network engineering experience.
  • Experience working for a Managed Service provider.
  • Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic, and network analytics tools.
  • Experience with network technologies (Cisco Meraki, Fortinet, Fortigate, Unifi, Aruba, Palo Alto).
  • Exposure to Routing, switching, Wireless networking, Firewalling, and advanced network security.
  • Cisco CCNA Routing and Switching certification (CCNP certification highly valued).
  • Fortinet Certifications valuable.
  • MS Server, Storage, and Backup experience considered.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
