About the Opportunity

This role is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of individuals with various physical and mental disabilities.


We are seeking dedicated professionals to support these participants in their homes across Western Sydney and surrounding suburbs, providing mobile support services on a part-time basis (minimum 12 hours per week).


As a Disability Life Skills Support Worker, you will aid with daily life activities, community support, educational and work-related endeavours, and facilitate access to various social, recreational activities. You will also assist with transportation to enable access to daily activities and engagements.


To be successful in this role, you will require experience or qualifications in disability or aged care, as well as skills in supporting individuals with complex behaviours and/or mental health needs using a person-centred approach. Good English communication skills, accurate record-keeping, knowledge of the Disability Inclusion Act 2014, Disability Service Standards and the NDIS, and possession of necessary certifications such as WWCC and NDIS Workers Check, and a NSW Driver's license are also essential.
