The Role

As a casual Producer, you will contribute to fostering audience engagement on-air and online. With a sound understanding of the Vietnamese-speaking community in Australia and its cultural sensitivities, you will research, write, produce, translate, and present audio content, including news, current affairs, and community stories, on radio and/or online platforms.

You must reside within Melbourne or Sydney to be considered. Some key responsibilities include:

  • Researching and writing engaging audio content
  • Producing, translating, and presenting audio content on radio and/or online platforms
  • Maintaining knowledge of the Vietnamese-speaking community in Australia and its cultural sensitivities
  • Participating in a language assessment task as part of the interview process

About You

Ideally, you will have:

  • A strong ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • A high level of proficiency in speaking and typing in Vietnamese and English
  • Demonstrated professional experience using social media platforms, such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram
