Job Summary

As a senior developer in our advanced sensor fusion team, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing cutting-edge tracking algorithms. Your expertise in optimization, real-time systems, and large-scale detection will drive the evolution of our engine.

  • Contribute to the performance enhancement of our sensor fusion engine by leveraging your knowledge of tracking and optimisation techniques in large-scale environments.
  • Utilize multi-threading, GPU acceleration, and other advanced techniques to profile, benchmark, and optimize performance-critical codebases.
  • Stay at the forefront of innovation by reviewing, testing, and implementing the latest research and algorithms in multi-object tracking.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure exceptional code quality, performance, and stability.
  • Engage closely with stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  • Advocate software engineering best practices, including refactoring, rigorous testing, and comprehensive documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Drive the development and implementation of advanced tracking algorithms for large-scale detection and tracking applications.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sensor data and implement efficient processing techniques.
  3. Design and develop high-performance software solutions for real-time systems and large-scale data processing.
  4. Conduct thorough analysis and troubleshooting to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
  5. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to inform innovative solutions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
  • At least 5 years of experience in a professional software engineering environment.
  • Proficient in C++ and comfortable with other general-purpose languages (ideally Python and/or Golang, including creating C++ bindings).
  • Experience with CMake, unit testing frameworks, and performance tuning techniques.
  • Demonstrated background in developing data-intensive, real-time applications and/or GPU-accelerated systems (TensorRT, CUDA, etc.).
  • Familiarity with Linux environments and containerisation tools such as Docker.
  • Experience with automated workflow creation for CI/CD processes.
  • Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and the applications of mathematics and physics within software development.
Desirable Skills
  • Experience in sensor fusion, multi-sensor data processing, or object tracking algorithms.
  • Exposure to AI/ML concepts and applications.
  • Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, or similar frameworks).
