The Role of Deputy Head

We are seeking a dynamic and visionary leader to join our team as the Deputy Head of Early Years and Junior School. This pivotal role supports the Head of School by overseeing and leading key areas related to staff development, student achievement, and community engagement. The role plays a crucial part in promoting a positive, inclusive, and spiritually enriching environment where students thrive academically, socially, and spiritually.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Leading and managing the Early Years and Junior School teams to achieve academic excellence and student growth.
  • Developing and implementing strategies to improve student outcomes and achievement.
  • Fostering partnerships with parents and the wider community to promote a culture of inclusivity and respect.
  • Providing guidance and support to staff to enhance their professional practice and well-being.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A personal commitment to the school's vision, mission, and values.
  • A Diploma of Teaching, Bachelor of Education, or higher.
  • Completed the Growth Coaching Course (or a willingness to undertake it).
  • A proven track record of achieving goals through collaboration and teamwork.
