About Us
Our mission is to advance plant phenotyping through cutting-edge research and innovative technologies. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Phenotyping Biometrician to join our team and contribute their expertise in statistical analysis.

Job Description:
We are looking for a talented individual who can provide leadership in the statistical research and consulting activities of our central office. The successful candidate will lead proposals for modifications and improvements for deployment across our network, providing high-level statistical support to projects, and reviewing opportunities for multi-dimensional statistical analytics. They will also establish a community of practice across our nodes, undertake workshops and training, and harmonise approaches to phenotyping biometric analytics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership in statistical research and consulting activities
  • Lead proposals for modifications and improvements
  • Provide high-level statistical support to projects
  • Review opportunities for multi-dimensional statistical analytics
  • Establish a community of practice
  • Undertake workshops and training

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have proven skills in the application of biometry / statistics, with experience in using R software packages to analyse longitudinal data and generate high-quality graphical outputs. You will also need to have demonstrated high-level interpersonal skills in working as a member of a multi-disciplinary research team, and be able to use sound judgement in interpreting and applying procedures to solve complex issues. Additionally, you will need to have a track record of publication in statistical methodology and application papers, and experience in managing either a team or multi-party program of work.
