Career Opportunity: Advocate for Women's Rights
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated legal professional to join our team as a solicitor/lawyer. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to meaningful systemic change in a region where your impact truly matters.
About the Role- Provide high-quality legal advice and representation in civil and criminal law matters
- Represent clients in courts and tribunals, including as a duty lawyer
- Deliver legal support to women who have been impacted by domestic and family violence and systemic disadvantage
- Bachelor of Laws qualification
- Eligible for a Practising Certificate in the Northern Territory
- Experience in civil or criminal law, particularly with knowledge of general civil law matters, including domestic and family violence
- Competitive base salary plus 12% Superannuation
- Relocation assistance up to $3,000 and support to help you settle in the new location
- Six weeks' annual leave plus an additional 12 days' personal leave
