About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about community-focused work, takes pride in outdoor tasks, and thrives in a collaborative environment. You will be working closely with the Parks and Streetscape Operations Manager, Coordinator Parks & Sportsfields Maintenance, and your Team Leader to contribute to the ongoing success and improvement of Council's green spaces.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and enhance Council's parks, sportsfields, open spaces, and recreational areas.
  • Contribute to the delivery of high-quality day-labour services.
  • Work collaboratively within a supportive team environment.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A relevant horticultural qualification or equivalent industry experience in parks and sportsfields operations.
  • Good interpersonal communication skills.
  • The ability to learn to use field devices (e.g., tablets) for managing daily team work plans.

  • A Class C Motor Vehicle Driver's Licence.
  • A suitable level of fitness to perform the inherent duties of the position.
