Job Overview
Seeking a highly organized and motivated professional to fill the role of Dental Assistant. This is an exceptional opportunity for individuals who are passionate about delivering top-notch patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures, ensuring patients receive optimal comfort and care throughout the process;
- Prepare treatment rooms, maintaining strict sterility standards and disposing of hazardous materials as required;
- Develop strong rapport with patients, addressing their concerns and providing guidance on oral health and hygiene practices;
- Collaborate effectively with dental hygienists and support staff to deliver seamless patient care services;
- Maintain accurate records, including patient files and inventory management systems.
Requirements
- Completion of a Certificate III in Dental Assisting or equivalent qualification;
- Minimum 1 year experience in a dental setting, preferably in a private practice environment;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective teamwork and collaboration;
- Able to lift heavy objects (up to 25kg) and work in a physically demanding environment.
Work Arrangements
This is a part-time position, working 4 days per week (Monday to Thursday). The successful candidate will be expected to maintain regular working hours, with occasional flexibility to accommodate emergency situations.
