We are seeking a qualified professional to join our multidisciplinary team as the Coordinator of the LEAP and/or PREP program.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the program, including supporting group facilitators, participating in regular ward rounds with the treating team, and providing therapy where needed.

Our programs have been developed by health professionals in collaboration with consumers, centered on three core principles:

  • Trust: Establishing a trusting partnership between the consumer and the treating team
  • Dignity: Providing a humanistic approach that retains dignity and respect
  • Individualised treatment: Recognizing that recovery from an eating disorder takes time and is unique to each individual

As the Coordinator, you will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team-based approach and be supported by experienced mental health professionals.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting and supervising group facilitators
  • Participating in regular ward rounds with the treating team
  • Providing therapy where needed
  • Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team-based approach

Essential criteria include:

  • Relevant qualifications, including APHRA registration where appropriate
  • Experience in Eating Disorder Treatment
  • Experience delivering group-based and individual therapeutic interventions
  • High level organisational, communication, and collaboration skills
