As a Peer Worker, you will work collaboratively within a dynamic multidisciplinary team to provide expert input into the development of the Eating Disorder Day program.

You will draw upon your own lived experience of an eating disorder and your knowledge of mental health services to inform your practice.

The role involves one-on-one peer support, facilitating groups, and contributing to MHDAS education activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver individualized support plans with consumers and their families
  • Facilitate group therapy sessions to promote recovery and well-being
  • Contribute to the development of the Eating Disorder Day program
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss consumer progress and develop treatment plans

Skill Requirements
