Clinical Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team at Northern Beaches Hospital. As a key member of our nursing leadership team, you will be responsible for driving clinical excellence, innovation, and positive patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advance clinical competence within Mental Health nursing practice
- Practice according to evidence-based nursing and latest contemporary practices in nursing
- Role model and influence a high standard of clinical practice among Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses, Graduates, and the wider multidisciplinary team
- Develop and deliver training and education, provide support and guidance to peers, patients, and their families
- Work within the Recovery Model of Care, while clinically and professionally operating within a Trauma-Informed Care and Customer Service Approach framework
- Possess a business acumen required to promote the service and drive growth
- Establish a professional working relationship with multidisciplinary members of the service, along with all other key stakeholders
- Maintain a safe work environment
- Communicate clearly, document legibly
- Patient allocation role - primarily day shift within Monday to Friday business hours
Requirements:
- Registered with AHPRA
- Bachelor of Science (Nursing)
- Postgraduate qualification in a relevant field of specialty
