Job Title: Data Infrastructure Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Data Infrastructure Specialist to assist our team with database administrative support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Database Administration: Build, install and configure SQL servers, create databases, maintain security, backup/restore, perform daily health checks, monitor performance and troubleshoot issues.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, optimize query performance, ensure data integrity and security, and provide valuable reports and visualizations.

Requirements:

  • Technical Skills:
    • Good T-SQL and PowerShell scripting knowledge for day-to-day administrative and reporting tasks.
    • Experience with SQL Server instances, upgrades/migrations, backups/recoveries, incident response and troubleshooting.
  • Education and Qualifications:
    • Formal qualification in computer science, information systems or equivalent work experience in a relevant field.
