Job Description:

The role of a Business Intelligence Analyst revolves around extracting valuable insights from complex data sets to drive informed business decisions. This includes leveraging various analytical and visualisation tools, such as SQL and Excel, to translate performance data into actionable strategies.

Working closely with stakeholders across different departments, the successful candidate will have the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner, effectively bridging the gap between technical teams and senior leadership.

This involves collaborating with team members to identify areas for improvement, building and maintaining dashboards to track key performance indicators, and providing strategic recommendations to enhance business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse market trends, customer behaviour, and economic environments to identify performance opportunities and risks.
  • Translate data into commercial opportunities by delivering compelling insights and business cases that improve customer satisfaction.
  • Provide insight into productivity and performance drivers across the organisation to support performance optimisation.
  • Assess and quantify the impact of solution implementations at all levels.
  • Identify and investigate deep dive business issues, producing insights to support decisions by senior leadership.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, or a related field.
  • Proven ability to write high-quality commentary and insights.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in analytical and visualisation tools (SQL, Excel).
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
