Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Asia Investment Strategic Controller to join our finance team. This role will oversee management of investment initiatives and processes for Asia Region, ensuring solid internal controls and measuring the return on investment (ROI) of key investments made by the Region.

The successful candidate will have a Master's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field, and 10+ years of post-graduate Financial Analysis, Accounting, Controllership or Finance work experience. Additional qualifications include:

  • +3-5 years of experience in multinationals with multi-product/multi-segment finance roles.
  • +3-5 years of work experience in matrix-based organization.
  • +3-5 years of work experience in the technology or software industry.
  • Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountants (CA) or equivalent certification.

Responsibilities

The Asia Investment Strategic Controller will be accountable for orchestrating the investment governance process and rhythms, as well as contributing to the thought leadership of the Asia Finance community. Key responsibilities include:

  • In charge of the Asia Management P&L and investments.
  • Key point of contact and responsible for landing investment process and insights in Asia.
  • Trusted advisor of the Asia leadership team and Asia Finance Controllership community.
  • Collaborate with HR, SE&O, Regional Headquarters team, and the business.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and reporting capabilities, including leveraging internal Microsoft tools, reporting cubes, BI tools, and other financial systems. They will also have leadership skills, proactively driving and delivering high-impact results through individual and virtual teams. Additionally, they will have project management skills, effectively managing and prioritizing multiple inputs, tasks, and stakeholders.
