Job Title: Office Coordinator
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and organized Office Manager to join our Sydney-based team. As an Office Manager, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the team, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
- Manage Internal Staff Movements: Coordinate internal staff movements and office relocations, including telecommunication requirements;
- Maintain Building Facilities: Manage activities associated with the maintenance of building facilities and equipment;
- Lead Direct Reports: Lead and manage direct reports to be supported as competent, capable and experienced employees;
- Recruit and Develop Talent: Ensure appropriate recruitment, retention and development of direct reports;
- Implement Training Programs: Implement on-the-job mentoring, learning and development opportunities within allocated budgets;
- Conduct Performance Appraisals: Undertake regular people management activities such as annual Performance Appraisals, Probation Reviews and Performance Improvement Plans;
- Forecast Workloads: Forecast workloads and ensure necessary resources to meet company and project deliverables.
Additional responsibilities include managing office space, sourcing temporary office accommodation and implementing new equipment or office facilities.
In addition to these responsibilities, you will also assist with coordinating functions and events, providing high-quality administrative support, monitoring expenditure on office overheads, preparing invoices and supporting information, and supporting Project Managers with reporting and bid delivery.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Relevant Qualifications: TAFE qualifications or equivalent;
- Leadership Abilities: People management and team building abilities;
- Client Focus: Client service focus;
- Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Priority Setting: The ability to establish priorities and work independently;
- Cultural Awareness: Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively in a culturally diverse environment.
