Project Operations Director

The role of Project Lead involves overseeing the day-to-day project operations, managing project timelines, coordinating with team members, contractors and suppliers, and ensuring compliance to industry standards. This includes frequent inspections, logistical planning, and expediting processes to ensure project milestones are met on time.
Key responsibilities include defining project objectives, project scope, roles & responsibilities; outlining a budget based on requirements and tracking costs; preparing a detailed project plan to schedule key project milestones, workstreams & activities; managing delivery of the project according to this plan; and identifying and mitigating potential risks.
Additionally, the Project Lead will manage and adjust for any changes in project scope, schedule and/or budget, ensure all safety precautions are followed and administered, and manage the relationship and communication with the client and all stakeholders.
- Project Management skills, including timeline management and coordination
- Experience with expediting processes and logistics management
- Inspection skills and ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
Relevant certifications in project management are a plus. Minimum of 3-5 years experience in a similar role within the commercial and industrial sector is required.
