Hearing Specialist

An Audiologist is required to support clinics in Cleveland and Greenslopes, Queensland, working Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM.

Key Responsibilities- Provide professional recommendations for the best rehabilitation options and develop clear rehabilitation programs tailored to clients' difficulties, lifestyle, management abilities, and budget.
- Conduct clinical assessments in line with current best practices and communicate assessment results and subsequent recommendations effectively.
- Meet clients' needs by providing appropriate and professional advice, services, and devices.
- Offer counselling and education to patients and their families regarding hearing loss management and communication strategies.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
- Participate in professional development and training to maintain current and diverse knowledge in audiology.
- 2-5 years of experience in Adult Rehabilitation.
- A relevant qualification in Audiology.
- Currently hold, or eligible for, full membership with AudA or ACAud.
- Strong audiological skills with the ability to manage a high and varied caseload while demonstrating sound clinical judgement.
- Excellent customer care and service skills with a passion for delivering an exceptional client experience.
- A commitment to building strong therapeutic relationships with clients and achieving the highest standards in audiological care.
- Well-developed interpersonal, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
