APS6 Complaints Officer

We are seeking a motivated and experienced APS6 Complaints Officer to join our team on a 12-month temporary assignment with potential to extend.

About the Role:

  • The APS6 Complaints Officer will lead and support team members in effectively managing complaints within expected timeframes.
  • Develop guidance materials and support processes to assist team members in dealing with complaints.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Leading and supporting team members to manage complaints efficiently.
  2. Managing escalated complaints and ensuring strict deadlines are met.
  3. Producing quality written correspondence for a range of audiences.
  4. Managing correspondence, briefing, and reporting functions for the Complaints Team.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in case management environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Exceptional decision-making ability within delegation.
  • Ability to work within strict timeframes and deadlines.
  • Confidence in dealing with complex cases or complaint management.
  • Demonstrated experience leading a team or mentoring a team.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
