A Recreation Therapist provides high-quality therapy interventions to mental health consumers, including assessment, treatment planning, and evaluation of leisure activities.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop individualized recreation therapy plans for consumers, ensuring their unique needs are met.
- Implement and evaluate recreational activities in a multidisciplinary setting, promoting social interaction and skill development.
- Undertake designated administrative tasks to support service delivery, maintaining accurate records and reports.
Requirements:
- Recognised degree in Recreation Therapy or equivalent qualification, demonstrating a strong understanding of therapeutic principles.
