The Information Security Officer is a key role in the development and implementation of information security strategies, policies, and procedures to protect electronic information.
This is a mid-senior level full-time position based in Macquarie Park, Sydney.
Key Responsibilities- Enforce adequate and compliant security measures to prevent unauthorized access to and loss of electronic information.
- Work with business, and technical teams to establish necessary measures to ensure the continued confidentiality, integrity, and availability of electronic information.
- Develop appropriate strategies, policies, standards, and procedures to facilitate a consistent integrated security approach encompassing all aspects of risk, including security, fraud, damage, and theft.
- Support the program of work defined by the Director of Technology and Operations to implement required security frameworks.
- Assist with the development of a program for security monitoring and incident reporting.
- In consultation with the IT Leadership Team, design and document the IT Group policy set covering all IT functions, as well as maintain IT's disaster recovery procedures.
- Demonstrated skills and experience in a customer service environment.
- Technical experience in an infrastructure support environment, monitoring risks, and issues to ensure adherence, compliance, and retention of industry standard (ISO 27001).
