This is a highly skilled position providing therapeutic support to clients experiencing poor mental health.
Main Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive assessments of individual needs, creating linkages with mental health supports and resources.
- Promote education and secondary consultation around mental health, AOD, trauma, and complex trauma.
- Deliver case management support from initial intake through to closure.
- Familiarity with championing core values internally and externally.
- Awareness and appreciation of Aboriginal societies and cultures.
- Strong knowledge in mental health, AOD, trauma-informed approaches, and culturally safe interventions.
- Expertise in secondary consultation and culturally led advice provision.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively as part of a broader team to achieve better outcomes for the community.
