The TFM Practitioner and Residential Care Worker role is pivotal in providing therapeutic care to children and young persons.
About the Role:This position involves delivering intensive, time-limited care that addresses complex impacts of abuse, neglect, and separation from family.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with a dedicated team to deliver high-quality therapeutic interventions
- Implement current best practice therapeutic guidelines to ensure child safety and well-being
- Support young persons in their educational, social, and recreational pursuits while fostering independence
- Create a safe and nurturing home environment, including household duties and meal provision
- A minimum Cert IV in Child, Youth & Family Intervention or other higher level qualification in Social Work/Youth Work is essential
- Valid driver's license is required for transporting young persons as needed
- Completion of mandatory upskilling units as per Departmental requirements is necessary
- Competitive hourly rate: $34 - $43 (unqualified) or $38 - $48 (qualified)
