About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Relationship Manager to join our high-performing Agribusiness team at Suncorp Group. As an Assistant Relationship Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Relationship Manager with the management and growth of a portfolio of valued Agribusiness customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Relationship Manager in managing relationships with customers within the assigned portfolio.
  • Respond to client queries in a timely and professional manner, ensuring all queries are addressed in accordance with established service standards.
  • Support the improvement of customer service and customer satisfaction outcomes for the portfolio.
  • Identify client needs and maintain accurate customer data.
  • Assist with meeting holistic customer needs, including lending needs, through genuine customer conversations.
  • Provide feedback to operational, segment, and risk areas on issues impacting the business.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement activities within the region.
  • Develop relationships with intermediaries, including solicitors and accountants, to ensure referrals are directed to the Relationship Manager or Regional Manager.
  • Assist Relationship Managers in generating opportunities for sales specialists for banking, insurance, and life products using the agreed sales process.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in agribusiness, commercial, or finance are desirable.
  • Demonstrated experience in roles requiring growth and retention of a customer base.
  • Demonstrated experience in financial services.
  • Demonstrated experience as an Assistant Relationship Manager or equivalent role in an Agribusiness banking team will be highly regarded.
