Job Description

The Volunteer Coordinator plays a pivotal role in spearheading the development, management, and enhancement of our Homecare Central Coast volunteering program.

This position ensures that volunteer service aligns with our mission and strategic priorities while recruiting, onboarding, and supporting volunteers.

This is a permanent part-time role working 3 days per week or 4 shorter days (one day must be a Wednesday) based at Tuggerah with hybrid opportunities.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience in volunteer coordination or program management in healthcare, aged care, or community services.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage, motivate, and develop a team and effectively work with other staff.
  • High-level administrative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent computer user including Word, Excel, and Database Management.
  • Strong conflict resolution skills.
  • Possession of passion for working in aged care or health is desirable.
  • Empathic and compassionate.
