Research Nurse RoleClinical trials research nurses are essential to the success of mental health studies, playing a vital role in the management and conduct of clinical trials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish connections with participants, conduct research evaluations, manage research data, handle biological samples, and perform general research administrative tasks.
- Support mental health clinical trials activities for investigators, collaborate with healthcare services where recruitment takes place.
- Conduct research assessments and complete necessary research administrative duties.
- Maintain relationships with stakeholders, including healthcare teams, consumers/carers, other health professionals, general practitioners, and agencies.
Requirements:
- Familiarity with clinical trials and experience as a nurse across various clinical disciplines.
- Operational and strategic experience in research ethics, governance, and clinical trials processes.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to establish and maintain productive relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- A flexible mindset, capable of managing multiple complex responsibilities, demonstrating initiative, problem-solving, and working autonomously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, effectively presenting complex information.
