Logistics Coordination Role:

This role focuses on the movement of product from mine stockpile to the ship hatch through the WAIO logistics chain.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining an overriding commitment to health, safety, environmental responsibility and sustainable development.
  • Ensuring supply and demand is achieved through short term logistics schedules and monitoring daily operational performance against plan.
  • Minimising supply chain losses by developing and communicating recovery plans with key stakeholders.
  • Providing data for the next shift and flagging issues likely to impact in the short term horizon.
  • Communicating requirements and changes during shifts to relevant personnel.
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of new processes and systems to improve logistic planning and scheduling.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • A valid Class C manual driver's license.
