Logistics Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled Logistics Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating the movement of goods and materials, ensuring timely delivery and efficient use of resources.
About the RoleThe Logistics Coordinator will play a critical role in maintaining accurate records, managing inventory levels, and resolving any logistical issues that may arise during transportation. They must be able to multitask, work effectively under pressure, and maintain excellent communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Send Daily Reports: Prepare and submit daily reports detailing all load movements, including arrival and departure times, and any delays or issues encountered.
- Coordinate with Dock Teams: Communicate with OB and IB dock teams to resolve any concerns or issues related to carrier pickups and deliveries.
- Manage Load Planning: Develop and implement daily load plans, working closely with carriers and NOC to ensure seamless execution.
- Monitor Trailer Movement: Track trailer arrivals and departures, collaborating with FC operations departments and carriers to optimize logistics operations.
- Data Analysis: Analyze data from various sources to identify trends and areas for improvement, generating reports to inform decision-making.
- Carrier Engagement: Foster strong relationships with carrier drivers and delivery personnel, promoting safe practices and minimizing delays.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent: A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Lifting and Physical Abilities: Ability to lift up to 25kg and perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching.
