Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to lead our Resilience and Recovery team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing policies and programs to ensure the Government's strategic policy direction is aligned with the needs of the Tasmanian community.
Key Responsibilities:
* Direct the development, implementation, and ongoing evaluation and review of policies, programs, and priorities
* Provide high-level strategic advice to the Premier and other Ministers on significant issues affecting the Tasmanian community
* Direct the overall performance of the Resilience and Recovery Tasmania team
* Liaise and negotiate with other agencies and senior non-State Government executives
* Lead and manage staff to ensure they have the knowledge, skills, and support to achieve organisational objectives
Requirements:
* A degree or other tertiary qualification or demonstration of an equivalent level of skill
* A Negative Vetting Level 1 (NV1) or ability to attain within the first 3 months
