Job Opportunity

The Director of Aerial and Spatial Analysis Team is a leadership role that involves leading the organisation's disaster response operations, ensuring seamless integration and coordination between operational deployment and commercial growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead DRA's Aerial and Spatial Analysis capabilities and ensure successful integration and operation of volunteer and At Cost Model services.
  • Engage across Field Operations, Preparedness and Disaster Relief and Recovery Teams; oversee ASAT capabilities, focusing on operational deployment of ADAT and leading the GIS team.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance, safety standards, and continuous development of staff and systems.
  • Coordinate stakeholder management, business development, and training to support disaster response operations.
Requirements:
  • Experience flying commercially in controlled airspace (drones or manned aircraft) is required.
  • Australian citizenship and eligibility for CASA clearance is necessary due to the nature of the role.
