Job Description

The successful candidate will provide key support to Biosecurity teams in Southern Brisbane.

This role involves creating accurate GIS maps and information for aerial land treatments using RPAS and helicopters, as well as interpreting and applying geospatial data to operational activities.

Major responsibilities include:

  • Creating accurate GIS maps and information for aerial land treatments using RPAS and helicopters.
  • Interpreting and applying geospatial data to operational activities, including managing large datasets and developing work instructions.
  • Mapping properties and defining work lot boundaries to assist in planning aerial treatment programs.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Prior experience with ArcGIS or similar GIS software, and operational administrative experience are highly desirable. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are also essential for this role.
