We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Endorsed Enrolled Nurse to join our dedicated team.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and delivering high-quality care to clients who require overnight respite care.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering exceptional nursing care and support that aligns with policy, procedures, and best practice guidelines while maintaining confidentiality and privacy.
  • Developing and implementing Behaviour Support Plans in collaboration with the Program Coordinator, incorporating good dementia care principles.
  • Completing, reviewing, and actioning Care Plans and clinical assessments as required, working closely with the Program Coordinator.
  • Supporting the rights and interests of clients by adhering to Duty of Care requirements and reporting mechanisms.
  • Managing and reporting incidents, accidents, or untoward events according to policies and procedures, including completion of Incident Forms and relevant documentation.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone with the following key skills and experiences:

  • Current registration as an Enrolled Nurse with AHPRA and medication endorsement.
  • Proven experience in providing high-quality care to clients, working with frail-aged people, and their carers, as well as individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, solving routine issues, and as an effective team member to achieve planned outcomes.
  • Strong knowledge and competency in Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
